We seek to empower our patients through education about their diagnosis and treatment options at our state-of-the-art cancer treatment center.
Kevin Lee, MD, PhD
Dr. Lee is a board-certified Radiation Oncologist. He attended medical school at the University of Georgia where he published multiple peer-reviewed journal articles on genome analysis. He matched into his first-choice residency, Radiation Oncology at University of Alabama Birmingham, UAB. There, he received top-tier training in the treatment of many cancer types including breast cancer, prostate cancer, lung cancer, and cancers of the head and neck. He also applied for and was accepted into the prestigious Holman Pathway for oncology research where he studied the genomic profiles of glioblastoma multiforme (GBM).
After training, he began his career as an independent practitioner of radiation oncology at the Gadsden Regional Cancer Center in July 2023. He joined and experienced cancer center staff, many of whom have been serving patients from Gadsden, Rainbow City, Attalla, and the surrounding communities for many years.
Dr. Lee is married and has 8 children. He enjoys mountain biking, reading, and spending time with his family.
